SITE PREPARATION IN KANSAS

The Deweese home sits on a large, 10 acre, rural lot which has remained, for the most part, untouched since the May tornado riddled the landscape with debris from buildings, trees, vehicles, and personal property. The task of cleaning up the lot to prepare it for new construction is a monumental task, so we could really use your help.

OFOP is coordinating an upcoming weekend trip to help the Deweese family prepare their lot for the new life that is to come on the family farm later this winter.

We will be heading to Solomon Kansas Friday, September 30th through Sunday October 2nd with cleanup and preparation in mind. If you’d like to participate in this effort, we will be taking at least one 12-15 passenger van load of volunteers. Due to reserved seating, I would ask that you contact us as soon as possible to reserve your spot in the van or vans. We will take as many vans as needed, but we have to have your reservation to know how many seats are needed. Please respond by calling or texting (309)299-7926, or by emailing us at onefamilyonepurpose@hotmail.com. Let us know if you need more details!

Hope to hear from you soon!
